Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie appeared to have earned a particular place in the Royal Family despite the numerous controversies caused by their father, Prince Andrew.
The Duke of York, who has been feuding with his brother King Charles, has had his royal titles and patronages revoked. His two girls, whom he shares with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, continue to be well-liked at the Palace.
According to royal sources, Buckingham Palace "appreciates" the two sisters' contributions and commitment.
"They both believe in the institution and what the royal family represents, and have always been willing to help and support it whenever possible," a person close to the Yorks told Hello! magazine. "They care for their cousins and believe in that sense of obligation.
They observed that both Beatrice and Eugenie have their own jobs and "haven't put a foot wrong" despite it being "difficult for members of the family who are half-out". The sisters did it "blamelessly".
"They have full-time jobs and families, and I think they like the balance they have in terms of being career women and mothers, while also being able to do their bit to support the royals" according to them.
"They are attractive, delightful young women; everyone who knows them thinks so. They are a credit to their parents and relatives, and it's clear that they are being valued more at the Palace."
According to royal analyst Ingrid Seward, the King values his nieces and appreciates their hard work. In truth, both sisters have done vital duties on behalf of the monarch.
However, royal insiders claim that, while senior members of the family, including Prince William, are glad to have the sisters' assistance for a limited number of events, there are no clear intentions to extend it.
