Holly Willoughby remains cheerful after Netflix program is cancelled

 

Holly Willoughby is enjoying some well-deserved rest and keeping her spirits up after her Netflix series, Celebrity Bear Hunt, was canceled.

The popular TV presenter came to Instagram today, sharing a make-up-free photo during a normal dog walk. She laughed about the summer rain in her post, writing, 'Raincoat, Hat, Wellies---must be June.'

Despite the recent news that Celebrity Bear Hunt was cancelled after only one season. Holly seemed calm.

The cancelation represents a watershed event in her career, since it is the first time she has not hosted a current television show in 20 years.

A source told The Sun: "Everyone involved with Bear Hunt is absolutely gutted--they loved the format, and it actually hit its streaming target."

'But the whole expense of travel, insurance, and, of course, recruiting big name stars proved too high--it was utterly impossible, even if they considered filming closer to home and producing a lower budget program.

'It is no disrespect to Holly or Bear, and executives are now looking for another way for them to demonstrate their abilities.

'Naturally, it's a big blow to Holly because it's the most recent show to be called, but she's a professional and understands that this is how things happen.'

Despite the conclusion of the program, Holly's staff is not concerned because the presenter has a lot of other intriguing projects in the works.
