Kate Middleton has taken on a significant role after the estranged member of the royal family, Prince Harry, stirred controversy by'seeking guidance' on a possible surname change.
The Princess of Wales is not only supporting her husband, Prince William, the next in line to the throne, and caring for her three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, but she is also staying in touch with other members of the family.
According to Closer Magazine, the future Queen is calling her brother, James Middleton, after he openly admitted to having mental health concerns with the backing of his family, particularly his sisters, Kate and Pippa.
"Kate has always had an exceptionally close relationship with James, so of course she was very upset & stressed that he was struggling," according to the insider.
Catherine is deeply concerned about her "baby brother," whose problems have left her "frightened and alarmed."
Earlier in an interview, James stated that he considers himself "fortunate" to have his sisters as pals. "They've seen me at my best and at my lowest, and they've always been there when I've needed them," he told me.
The mother of three "makes a point of checking in on him most days." They chat and email all the time, sometimes late into the night, and James knows that if he ever needs anything from Kate, she'll drop whatever she's doing to assist. That means a lot."
Princess Kate was praised for her "compassion and selflessness" in remaining so supportive of James despite her health concerns and royal responsibilities.
According to a source, Catherine will do "everything in her power to keep her family together."
It is worth noting that the Princess of Wales made urgent calls to James since her brother-in-law, Harry, was experiencing troubles.
For those who are unaware, Daily Mail royal journalist Richard Eden recently disclosed that the Duke of Sussex asked his late mother Princess Diana's brother about altering his royal family name from Mountbatten-Windsor to Spencer.
"They had a very amicable conversation, and Spencer advised him against taking such a step," a friend of Harry stated.
