Meghan Markle received support from an American actress after experiencing widespread criticism for her dance video with Prince Harry.

For those who are unaware, the Duchess of Sussex posted a video celebrating Princess Lilibet's fourth birthday in which she can be seen dancing in her hospital room before to her daughter's arrival.

Meghan and Harry performed at Starrkeisha's The Baby Momma Dance, a TikTok fad.

Meghan captioned the now-viral video, "Four years ago today, this also happened." Our children were both a week over their due dates. When hot cuisine, all that exercise, and acupuncture were ineffective, there was just one thing left to do!"

Shortly after the Duchess' latest tweet, a dispute erupted on social media, with many labeling it a 'cringe' move.

Candiace Dillard, a US TV celebrity and singer, wrote a letter defending Meghan and condemning "misogynoir" assaults on the Duchess.
