James Gunn, CEO of DC Studios, has announced some interesting news as he promotes his upcoming picture, Superman.
His forthcoming action sci-fi film stars David Corenswet as the superhero. Meanwhile, Nicholas Hoult is scheduled to play the evil Lex Luthor.
While DC Studios prepares to debut the new picture, they are also working on reboot projects for Batman and Wonder Woman.
However, many are expecting for a crossover between the famous trio of Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman.
In an interview with Deadline, Gunn was asked explicitly if he is working on a collaboration project with the three comic book characters.
The 58-year-old filmmaker has declared that he intends to produce such a picture, but they will not feature together in the next film.
"Certainly, yes! "But not in the next film," he said.
As for "if there are talks of it happening at some point in the next few years?"
Gunn said, "You have to realize that all of this is talking within my skull [laughs], so there's a lot of chatter in there that does a lot of things! But the DCU is more like babble in my brain than a conversation."
James' new Superman flick is set to be released on July 11.
