Charles Spencer, Princess Diana's younger brother, marked a momentous anniversary with a unique flashback.
Diana continues to retain a particular place in the lives of her estranged brother, Prince William and Prince Harry. However, due to their rift, the siblings are no longer speaking.
Despite their difficult relationships, the fighting brothers are united in safeguarding their mother's legacy and memory. On Tuesday, July 1, on what would have been Diana's 64th birthday, Charles released a rare family photo with the siblings all together.
Diana was joined by her brother Charles in the black and white photograph, smiling while sitting on a camel while their father, John Spencer, looked on.
"Another July 1st, from long ago - 1967, in fact: for Diana's 6th birthday party, my father (standing, left) - to huge excitement - secured the services of Bert the Camel, from Thorney Wildlife Park, in Peterborough," Charles wrote with the image's caption.
