This month's day one launch title for Xbox Game Pass will be Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, a recreation of two legendary skateboarding games. Other titles coming to the subscription service in the first half of July include puzzle platformer Little Nightmares 2, action-adventure title Rise of the Tomb Raider, and cyberpunk shooter The Ascent. In July, Game Pass will include additional titles, DLC content, and membership advantages. Here's a deeper look at the Xbox Game Pass wave 1 roster this month:
Xbox Game Pass Titles for July Announced
In an Xbox Wire article on Tuesday, Microsoft revealed the first wave of titles that will be available on Game Pass for PC, Xbox consoles, and the cloud in July. The headlining title for the first half of the month is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4, which will be available on Game Pass on July 11. The skateboarding game combines remakes of Pro Skater 3 and Pro Skater 4 into a one package, much like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+ 2 did with the original two games.
The remake includes all of the original games' parks and skaters, as well as new ones, and features a graphic update that includes 4K resolution, clearer textures, improved lighting and animations, and more. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 will be available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass for cloud, Xbox consoles, and PC on July 11. The game will also be available for Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, as well as the PlayStation 4 and PS5.
Two titles were added to Game Pass in July and are currently playable: Little Nightmares 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. Both titles will be available on the Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard levels for cloud, console, and PC platforms.
On Wednesday (July 2), two Mana series games, Legend of Mana and Trials of Mana, will be added to Xbox Game Pass Standard. On July 3, the service will introduce Ultimate Chicken Horse, a multiplayer party platformer.
The Ascent will be available again on Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, and Game Pass Standard starting next week, July 8. The cyberpunk-themed shooter has a vibrant, neon-drenched visual design and may be played solo or cooperatively. On July 9, management sim Minami Lane will join Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
High on Life, a humorous first-person shooter (there's just no other way to describe it), will be available on Game Pass later this month, on July 15. If you enjoy Rock & Morty comedy, this game should be just up your alley, as it was created by series creator Justin Roiland.
Microsoft also stated that its Retro Classics collection, which debuted last month, currently has more than one million gamers. The Xbox parent company also announced the addition of certain old titles to the new portfolio, including Cosmic Commuter, Heart of China, Skiing, Solar Storm, and Subterranea.
This month, Game Pass users will receive DLC material for Diablo IV and Palworld, as well as in-game perks for Mecha Break, Splitgate 2, and Asphalt Legends Unite.
On July 15, the firm also announced which titles would be exiting Game Pass this month. These include Flock, Mafia: Definitive Edition, Magical Delicacy, Tchia, The Callisto Protocol, and The Case of the Golden Idol.
