Princess Kate went to King Charles' prescribed therapy for cancer

 

Princess Kate is speaking out about the lesser-known tools that helped her manage cancer treatment. One of them is a personal favourite of King Charles.

During her visit to Colchester Hospital's cancer wellness unit on Wednesday, July 2, the 43-year-old Princess of Wales stated that she tried acupuncture while having treatment last year.

Kate's father-in-law, who is 76, has long pushed traditional Chinese treatment, which includes putting small needles into pressure points, as a helpful supplemental technique.

In fact, Charles, who is now receiving cancer treatment, previously asked the World Health Organization to incorporate such treatments into mainstream healthcare.

Princess Catherine, who is presently in remission, discussed how difficult it may be to resume regular life following treatment.

"You put on a strong front, a stoic expression during therapy. following treatment, it's like, 'I can crack on, go back to normal,' but the period following that is very, really difficult," Kate told her fellow patients.

She said, "You're no longer under the clinical team, but you're not able to function normally at home as you once did..." Need someone to walk you through the process and provide guidance. I believe it's incredibly valuable."

Kate also helped plant roses in a therapeutic garden at the center, which was created to bring serenity and comfort to patients, staff, and families.
