The vanilla Tecno Spark 40 is available in Ink Black, Mirage Blue, Veil White, and Titanium Grey colours. On the other hand, the Tecno Spark 40 Pro comes in Ink Black, Bamboo Green, Lake Blue, and Moon Titanium. Finally, the Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ is available in Aurora White, Moon Titanium, Nebula Black, and Tundra Green colors.

The Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ features a 6.78-inch 1.5K (1,224x2,720 pixel) 3D AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio G200 SoC and comes with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. It comes with the Android 15-based HiOS skin on top.
The Tecno Spark 40 Pro+'s optics include a 50-megapixel main sensor at the back and a 13-megapixel sensor on the front. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, FM radio, OTG, NFC, and a USB Type-C connector are among the available connectivity options. It also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for further security. The phone includes two speakers with Dolby Atmos support and an IR blaster.
The Tecno Spark 40 Pro+ has a 5,200mAh battery and supports 45W wired, 30W wireless, and 5W reverse wireless charging. The device is IP64 dust and splash resistant. It measures 163.9 x 75.8 x 6.49 mm.

The Tecno Spark 40 Pro is powered by MediaTek's Helio G100 Ultimate processor. It doesn't enable wireless or reverse wireless charging. The device also lacks an in-display fingerprint sensor. Other features of the device, including as the display, operating system, camera, battery, charging speed, construction, and connection, are identical to those of the Pro+ model. It is 6.69mm thick.
Notably, both Pro variants of the Tecno Spark 40 series utilize Tecno's FreeLink technology, allowing users to make calls without cellular access.
