Telegram announced on Friday a new upgrade to its app that allows artists to earn directly from within the network, as well as additional capabilities. Checklists allows Telegram Premium users to build interactive checklists in individual and group chats to manage tasks and measure progress in real time. Channel users may now recommend postings in channels, opening up new revenue opportunities for content providers on the network.
New Features on Telegram
Telegram's most recent version includes three new features: collaborative checklists, suggested posts, and improved monetization possibilities for artists.
Telegram Premium customers may construct collaborative checklists for a variety of purposes, including group projects and grocery lists. This functionality works in group chats, one-on-one discussions, and stored messages. It provides additional controls by allowing designers to specify who may mark things or add entries to the checklist. Users on Telegram may build collaborative checklists by tapping the attachment menu and selecting Checklist.
Channel subscribers may now recommend material for the channels they follow, such as promotional videos, fan art, or product evaluations. It aims to increase engagement by allowing content creators to receive and review material from their created communities.
Suggested Telegram postings may be scheduled for a specified date, according to the business. This tool has also been enhanced with the possibility to sponsor suggested content to help creators. Subscribers can sponsor articles with Telegram Stars or Toncoin, and channel owners will be rewarded 24 hours after the message is published.
According to the company, users without an Apple Pay or Google Pay account may acquire the currencies using Fragment and the PremiumBot on Telegram. However, Toncoin payments are final and non-refundable.
Finally, suggested content include channel-specific monetization techniques. The instant messaging software claims to allow authors to earn affiliate commissions, crowdsource content, and generate cash without leaving the platform. Creators will also be able to modify and negotiate their submitted work before it is published.
