Oppo Find X9 series, which includes the basic Find X9 and the Find X9 Pro, will be introduced on October 16 by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Ahead of its highly anticipated introduction, a source is said to have divulged important characteristics of the Oppo Find X9. The phone is reported to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC and a 7,025mAh battery. This leak comes just days after a business official posted a few photos of the next smartphones, as well as some specifications, teasing what the new devices would provide.
Oppo Find X9 Specifications (Expected)
In a Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) revealed the essential characteristics of an unidentified smartphone that would be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. According to Gizmochina, the features will be available on the next Oppo Find X9. The device is said to have a 6.59-inch OLED flat display with 1.5K resolution, a "R-angle" curvature, and "ultra-narrow equilateral" bezels.
On the front, the Oppo Find X9 is expected to have a 32-megapixel selfie camera. The source also says that it will include a quad-rear camera arrangement, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT808 main shooter, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 ultrawide-angle lens, a Sony LYT600 periscope telephoto sensor with f/2.6 aperture, and a 2-megapixel "multi-spectral" lens.
The next Oppo Find X9 might include 80W wired fast charging capability. Furthermore, the smartphone could feature 50W wireless charging. It might also have an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor for further security. It is rated "IP66/IP68/IP69" for dust and water resistance. The device might be 7.99mm thick and weigh around 203g.
This comes only days after Oppo product manager Zhou Yibao said that the Find X9 will have a 7,025mAh battery and the Oppo Find X9 Pro will have a 7,500mAh battery. Furthermore, the Oppo Find X9 is said to include the "first-ever 1-nit All-Scenes 1 nit Eye Protection Screen" (translation from Chinese).
The soon-to-be-unveiled phone series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor. It will run ColorOS 16, an Android 16-based operating system, and have a 200-megapixel (f/2.1) periscope telephoto rear camera with a 70mm focal length.
The business leader also revealed photos from the forthcoming Oppo Find X9 series. The phone was demonstrated with a Hasselblad-branded quad-rear camera setup and an LED flash placed within a square camera module.
These photos hint that the handset may have a metallic frame and a flat back panel. The power and volume control buttons are located on the right side of the handset. The Pro and Standard will have a similar design.
Furthermore, the company has announced that the Oppo Find X9 will be available in Velvet Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black, while the Find X9 Pro will be sold in Velvet Titanium and Frost White.
The Oppo Find X9 lineup is set to release in China on October 16. The standard Oppo Find X9 was recently seen on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the product number CPH2791, indicating that it would be launched in India soon.
