In the midst of their parents' impending demise, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have been given a new update on their future with the royal family.
After dealing his brother Andrew a final blow, King Charles III has decided on the regal titles of the Princesses of York.
Despite their father's decline, the royal sisters are said to keep their titles. They shall maintain their honors in accordance with the 1917 Letters Patent of King George V.
As the grandchildren of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Charles will always 'protect' his nieces Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, who are still Her Royal Highnesses.
The Daily Mail was informed by a source that "the King would not have wanted to sign off on anything that would impact them."
The King and his advisors made the decision on their own, without interference from the government or other family members, including future King William.
"The process has been going on for a while, but given some significant obstacles, it was imperative to get it right," a source stated.
If the sisters continued to support the monarchy, they would also be cordially invited to attend Christmas and other royal family gatherings at Sandringham.
After his father Andrew, who still holds the eighth rank despite losing all of his titles and honors, Beatrice is ninth in line for the throne.
She co-founded The Big Change Charitable Trust and serves as an advisor for Afiniti, a company that develops artificial intelligence software.
In addition, the Princess holds other royal patronages, such as the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity, the Teenage Cancer Trust, and the Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.
However, Eugenie, who is 12th in line for the throne, also supports a number of charitable organizations, such as the European School of Osteopathy, the Elephant Family, and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The nonprofit Anti-Slavery Collective was also co-founded by Ferguson's youngest daughter. The princess is a director at London's Hauser & Wirth, a contemporary art gallery, and early this year she joined The King's Foundation's 35 under 35 network of changemakers as a mentor.
