Windows 11 Insider Preview Build: What's New
In a blog post, Microsoft announced the release of Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 26220.7051 (KB5067115) to the Dev and Beta Channels. While the update includes bug fixes and efficiency improvements, the most notable addition is the inclusion of the Ask Copilot tool in the taskbar.According to the Redmond-based tech giant, it is an opt-in experience that provides immediate access to Copilot Vision and Voice. They can communicate with Copilot Vision via text, audio, and guided help. To use this feature, Windows 11 users need go to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar > Ask Copilot.
The business emphasized that Ask Copilot uses standard Windows APIs to retrieve programs, files, and settings, and it has no access to the user's personal data.
With the release of the Asus ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X, Microsoft launched a new full-screen experience (FSE). The company is now bringing the same experience to other mobile gaming PCs powered by Windows 11. It is touted to provide faster task switching, optimized performance, and responsive gaming. The preview is now available for MSI Claw models and will be expanded to include more OEMs in the future months.
Another feature included in the Windows 11 Insider Preview Build is shared audio. It is described as a new feature for Copilot+ PCs that makes use of Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) audio broadcast capabilities. Microsoft says that two users can exchange audio material simultaneously.
To use this function, navigate to the Shared Audio (Preview) tile in quick settings, pick the two supported and connected accessories, and then choose Share.
