There are rumours and forecasts that Prince Andrew is intending to write a book in order to clear his reputation and repair his image following the [expletive] fiasco.
There are also allegations that Britain's new King Charles's younger brother is considering reversing the out-of-court deal he agreed with his accuser Virginia Giuffre last year.
However, a royal insider has stated that Andrew would not dishonour the royal family even if he writes his autobiography.
Andrew, Sarah Ferguson's husband and the father of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, has no intentions to oppose his own royal kin, according to a reliable source.
"If Andrew ever considers publishing an autobiography, which is not yet confirmed, he will not offend his own family. Instead, the Duke may try to cleanse his name by revealing some painful truths about his personal life that have nothing to do with the rest of the royals."
Some analysts believe that Andrew will join Harry in his quest for vengeance against Charles, and that he will publish his own biography. According to a "long-time friend" of the Duke, he may try to restore his reputation by putting pen to paper.
"He would never have thought of that when his mother was still living, but it would be the ideal retort now. Of course, the royals would not approve, but Fergie did hers and was not shunned — and as for Harry, they are already discussing family reconciliation."
It comes amid claims that he is considering reversing the out-of-court deal he negotiated with his accuser last year.
Andrew appears to be influenced by his ex-wife Sarah, with whom he has maintained a positive connection throughout the years. Since the divorce was finalised in 1996, the Duchess of York has also authored two memoirs.
