Jennifer Lopez, the host of this year's American Music Awards, revealed her unique preparations.
The 55-year-old singer and actress confessed that she has yet to determine what she would wear during the award event on Monday, May 26.
"We just started doing fits yesterday, and there are so many options. I'm not sure what will end up on the program... I believe there will be a lot of last-minute decisions," Lopez told People Magazine.
The On The Floor hitmaker revealed that she believes in intuition and alters her look depending on how she feels that day.
"I work with my stylist and we kind of kick around ideas like, 'What do we want it to be for the performance and what do we want it to be for the hosting and what's our vibe?'" according to her.
"We're feeling it out because I believe it will change. For me, my thoughts shift from month to month, like, 'Who do I want to be today?' because I feel like there are so many different aspects to who I am fashion-wise," J.Lo added.
Despite her last-minute adjustments, the Hustlers star maintains an organized system with her styling staff.
She stated, "I constantly want to keep the audience involved and thrilled. I have one or two females with whom I've worked for years, Kelly and now Hannah, and we've basically refined it down to, 'We'll do this. We will accomplish this. We will accomplish this. You take the lead. "I will take the shoe."
Lopez will return to host the AMAs this year, having previously hosted the event 10 years ago.
