Rod Stewart recently spoke candidly about doing "more music" at the age of 80.
During an interview with AARP The Magazine as their June/July cover star, the iconic singer and composer confessed that he is still considering recording new songs at this age.
Stewart stated, "There's so much more music I want to make." I'm working on three albums: covers, country, and Faces. "I can't stop."
He revealed his love of music, saying, "Even when I'm spending time with my grandchildren, my passion for music drives me." I feel like I've accomplished all I ever desired, yet there's still more to come."
Moving forward, the Maggie May crooner mused on accepting aging with open arms and how he harnesses his vitality.
"When I feel sick enough to cancel a concert, I think, 'Maybe I'm getting old.'" Then, a few days later, I'm back at it again."
"I enjoy performing concerts more now than I did back then." "Maybe I've come full circle to realize how fortunate I've been," Rod Stewart remarked.
