On Tuesday, the Italian automaker presented the Ferrari Amalfi, its latest two-door coupe. It is based on the Grand Tourer idea and is touted to deliver excellent performance while being versatile for everyday use. The Ferrari Amalfi replaces the Roma in the lineup and is equipped with the HMI (Human-Machine Interface) system, which includes ADAS controls, adaptive cruise control, and voice-activated instructions. It is driven by a twin-turbo V8 engine with 640 horsepower and an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
Ferrari Amalfi Price & Availability
The initial price of the Ferrari Amalfi is EUR 240,000 (approximately Rs. 2.42 crore). At debut, the coupe is available in a single Verde Costiera exterior and Verde Bellagio interior color scheme.
Ferrari Amalfi pre-orders have begun at Ferrari dealerships, and delivery will begin in Q1 2026. US availability is likely three to six months later.
Ferrari Amalfi: Features
According to Ferrari, the new Amalfi coupe has the next-generation ADAS technology. It is customizable through the instrument cluster and is linked to the vehicle's electronic systems, which include front and rear radar, cameras, and control units. The ADAS suite includes technologies such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, blind spot detection, lane departure warning, and lane keeping assist. Drivers can also benefit from optional Surround View and Rear Cross Traffic Alert features for added safety.
With the Ferrari Amalfi, the Italian manufacturer has updated its HMI system, which now consists of three major screens. A 15.6-inch digital instrument cluster displays information regarding driving and vehicle dynamics. A 10.25-inch capacitive touchscreen in the center of the dashboard allows you to access critical features including entertainment controls, radio, screen mirroring, climate control, seat adjustment, and vehicle settings. The last feature is an 8.8-inch screen for the co-driver that displays G-force, engine revs, and other information.
The vehicle's infotainment system is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible. It also has the MyFerrari Connect system, which is accessed via a specialized app and allows for remote status monitoring. There is also wireless charging built inside the middle tunnel.
Ferrari Amalfi: Powertrain and Vehicle Dynamics
Powering Ferrari's newest two-door coupe is powered by a twin-turbo V8 engine from the Ferrari F154 family, capable of delivering up to 640 horsepower at 7,500 rpm. Its redline has been increased to 7,600 rpm to provide a continually growing power curve. The engine is paired to an eight-speed dual-clutch oil-bath gearbox from the SF90 Stradale.
According to the manufacturer, the gearbox has a more powerful control unit and better connection with engine software. Ferrari utilized innovations such as dry-sump gearbox layout, low-friction bevel gear, and clutch torque control methods.
Ferrari says that the Amalfi can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.3 seconds and from standstill to 200 kmph in 9 seconds. It has a power-to-weight ratio of 2.29 kg/HP. The Ferrari Amalfi has a stated peak speed of 320 kmph.
The Ferrari Amalfi's dimensions are 4,660 x 1,974 x 1,301mm, with a 2,670mm wheelbase. Its dry weight is 1,470 kg. It features 80 liters of petrol capacity and a 273-litre boot space.
The Italian carmaker believes that introducing brake-by-wire improves vehicle dynamics. It is supposed to increase braking efficiency, shorten pedal travel, and improve modulation even when ABS is used. Meanwhile, it has adapted and refined the ABS Evo system, which was most recently seen in the Ferrari 12Cilindri, to ensure ideal slip in all Ferrari Manettino settings. It also has an EPS-based grip estimating technology, which is claimed to be 10% quicker and more accurate than the Ferrari 296 GTB on low-traction conditions.
The rear active spoiler, on the other hand, responds to longitudinal and lateral acceleration. It automatically switches to the high downforce configuration during high-speed cornering or severe braking to boost both stability and rear aerodynamic downforce.
Ferrari Amalfi: Interior
The Ferrari Amalfi interior has a dual-cockpit configuration, with the driver and co-driver positioned in visibly linked cells. The car features a "2+" configuration, which includes two little seats in the back. The business claims to have extensively employed premium materials and incorporated technical solutions.
The vehicle's dashboard is monolithic, with the instrument cluster and air vents merged into a single block. The middle tunnel holds the gear selector gate, key slot, wireless charging pad, and secondary function controls.
Buyers may also select optional comfort seats in three sizes. These are outfitted with ten air chambers that provide massage functions in five programs and three intensity levels for both the front seats and backrest. An optional Burmester Premium Audio System with 14 speakers and a total power output of 1,200W is also available.
