Tom Holland was reportedly one of the actors who were supposed to replace Daniel Craig in the forthcoming James Bond film.
However, the chance of his replacement appears to have faded, as Holland has been barred from taking on two "superhero" positions at once.
The 29-year-old is currently filming the next Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
According to reports, Tom's contract with Marvel prevents him from taking on any more parts that may overshadow the forthcoming Spider-Man film.
"Tom can't play two superheroes; it simply won't happen," a source told The Sun's Bizarre column on Sunday.
The Uncharted actor recently discussed his rumored casting as James Bond, stating that landing the part would be the "pinnacle" of his career.
In his most recent visit on Gordon Ramsay's YouTube program, Tom commented, "Listen, there's speculation at the moment. We'll keep it to a minimum for now. We'll get there someday.
When asked how you felt about having the opportunity to play 007.
He said, "I mean, for any young British actor, this is the pinnacle of working in our industry. I already consider myself the luckiest kid alive. I never imagined I'd have a career like this."
The latest MCU superhero film starring Holland is set to debut on July 31, 2026.
